EPHRAIM, UT – On April 5, 2019, Shaun S. Kjar of Ephraim, signed a contract with Ephraim City as the new City Manager.
Ephraim’s former City Manager, Brant Hanson, was offered a City Manager position with Centerville, Utah, which began on March 25, 2019.
The vacant position was advertised locally and throughout the State of Utah. The City Council met and reviewed 34 impressive applications, 5 of which were selected for interview. Over the past 10 years, he has held multiple positions at Snow College including Admissions Advisor, GBEEC Director, and Assistant Director of Student Life. Shaun has been teaching communication classes for 9 years, the past three years full-time.
