What’s the difference between Interlibrary Loan and our local book transfer?

Our local book transfer allows you to place holds on items from our sister libraries in Manti and Mount Pleasant.  These books are transferred weekly between the three libraries.  Interlibrary Loan is a service through the State Library that allows us to expand the search for materials outside our local area.  So if we don’t have it, we still may be able to get it for you.  Interlibrary loan requests may be made in the library, by email (lori.voshall@ephraimcity.org) or over the phone.
